Hi there all at rabroad, i am trying to find out the title of a film me & my sister remember from the 70's which was shown here in the uk, in the late seventies. It was a US film production & filmed on the streets of new york (or similar),very sleazy type with pimps & hustler's around. The story was about a rapist on the loose & targeting women & one woman in particular who had either been raped or was being stalked by a man who had a bald head & very evil face, slim build , dark eyes, scary stuff.In the film there is a scene where the woman is dreaming & within the dream sequence she is being chased by this man down the stairsteps in her house ( filmed in slow motion - i might add),the killer / rapist wearing only jeans. When she gets to the front door to escape he catches her & she awakens from the nightmare. Also at the end of the film, the woman is finally captured where she is taken to the guy's trashy apartment where the windows are all boarded & outside his apartment is ( i think ) a billboard poster where the killer or the woman gets hurtled through out onto the streets & enRAB the movie. That's all i can remember. Not a nice film, but it has stuck with me & my sister from our childhood days. I'm sure it was a movie opposed to a TV film, but i can't be sure, & also i can't name any actors, so if anyone has any clues to what this picture might be, please get in touch.
