I was trying to get pregnant with my 1st child but had no luck(4months) my friend to me to try something she was told by someone who did it and it worked. She said her friend told her that after everytime her and her bf would have sex she would go to the bathroom and use a lite or reg tampon over night when it came time for her to get her period it didnt come she was pregnant. I tried this with my 1st and it worked. 2yrs later me and my bf was trying for a 2nd child we tried 6 months nothing.. started using a tampon after we had sex and when it came time for my period never came i was pregnant again.. 
i know ur not to use them when ur not on ur period but it was worth a try and it worked both times. I only used a lite or reg tampon.
