if you're suggesting we're a set of individuals who actually question what's going on around us, then yes. this is not necessarily ego based but I do see your point.

isn't it just as big of an ego trip to put off "conspiracies" (though much of what i'm talking about is pure fact, e.g. Fast and Furious) blindly because your ego believes no such thing can ever happen to our country or we're just paranoid or because the social quo says your a nutcase if you believe there is corruption? That's the biggest ego trip of all.
 
Well Rome, meaning America, is burning. We have a self destructive economic and monetary policy that will eventually collapse. QE programs have facilitated in the rapid devaluation of the currency by so greatly expanding our money supply. Our Empire is propped up by paper fiat and we will only be able to kick the can down the road for so much longer before the can goes off a cliff.
 
this issue has been exhausted over and over again on OT and elsewhere. logical people disprove illogical conspiracy theorists who try to string together random unrelated facts and use conjecture and outright fantasy as a filler
