2.3 million people in prison. America is 5% of the world's population but has 25% of the world's global prison population. We have more black people in prison now than we ever had as slaves.

We have guitar factories being raided over wood, organic farms being raided for selling raw milk products, homes being raided because someone defaulted on their student loans, big time prison sentences for using recreational drugs other than alcohol, and a non-stop stream of incidents of police brutality and police corruption, encouragement to spy on your neigrabroadors, a government-funded fear-mongering psy-op campaign through DHS... not to mention the money that is made on search and seizures, drug raiRAB, auctioning off property seized at checkpoints, etc. etc.

But keep in mind also that gold held a steady right around $20/ounce for 80 years or so. Now it's $1829/ounce. If you were to buy a $20,000 car right now it would cost you almost 11 ounces of gold. Those same 11 ounces were once worth $218. Currency devaluation through inflation... keep the fiat paper printing to keep the Empire propped up and let the consumer pay for it through an inflation tax.
