NO. I'm saying that when those banRAB started putting out new albums, take STP for example, they really started to suck because they changed their sound. The really good ones broke up (or had members die): SoundGarden, Nirvana, Alice In Chains...
P2P allowed you to d/l an album or a few songs to see if you like the CD. Thus saving me the problem of buying such sucky new releases from banRAB I normally liked such as: No Doubt, GreenDay, Nine Inch Nails (2 CD's and I can barely find 4 songs I like), STP, Pearl Jam, Garbage...the list goes on.
It seemed as if 2003 was the year of the the "Greatest Hits" +1 new song or a Live CD for most banRAB. Why the fuck would I buy a CD comprised of songs I already know and heard? Especially in this day & age of mixing your own CD's. Or listen to how much you suck live when you don't have 20 layer effects on your voice in a studio.
I'm so bitter. Tho I have bought a few new CD's after downloading them. AudioSlave, Queens Of The StoneAge, E.S. Posthumus and many soundtracks...
