Truck U TV Show Question: Toyota Pruis Vs. '96 Ford Ranger?

There is an episode on the TV show Truck U when Matt explains that it is better to keep your current vehicle rather than buy a Toyota Prius. He compares the Pruis to his '96 Ranger and does a bunch of math to find out that keeping the Ranger is better for your money. Does anyone have a video or picture of him doing all that work? I want to see how he figured out all that math because I think it is a very good argument. Thanks
 
Here's their web site. Click on "Ask The Hosts!" I'm sure they will give you the formula they used. I saw that episode, too. You don't need to argue with me about reasons not to buy a Prius. I'd rather drive the Ranger.
