Troubleshooting 2000 Buick Century?

I have a 2000 Buick Century. When i turn the key, the radio, lights, windows and everything else electrical works completely fine. The engine will not turn over at all. I checked the alternator and its also fine. That leaves only the starter right? Is there anything else that i could be missing?

my guess is the ignition switch may be bad or a wire is unhooked
