trouble with the ppc-6700

im trying to fallow badutahboy's steps to get it working on cricket. im on the epst changes, but 000000 is not working for my password.

i have the ppc 6700, i enter ##778 then the screen pops up and i enter 0 six times. says the unlock code is wrong or something like that. im not sure if this phone is a verizon phone or not, but when i fallow the steps of changing the server address, i could have sworn it said verizon...

is there any other way i can check which carrier this phone is on?
if its sprint, whats a good excuse i can give the reps to get the msl
 
OK the only verizon 6700, is the xv6700 with the black face. Everyone else's PPC 6700's have a all silver body and face. To get the MSL you need some crivers QPST and a program to get the code and change it.
 
with the sprint 6700 the msl is not 000000...it has to do with your esn...not sure how to get it from sprint yet....and to get it to show up in qpst...put in diag mode..and open qpst...and hit add new port...it should show up
