I bought a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer about a year ago, and half way through the year i had some financial issues so i took it off the road 7 months later i put it back on the road and try to start it. At first it starts just fine so i go and register it and get plates for it. Withing 24 hours i come back and the it doesnt want to start so i have a friend help me jump it. When i did that the Alarm goes off. i tried to turn it off with the remote control but it didnt work. So i pulled the jumper cable plugs of the batterys. Less than 5 minutes i try again and this time the alarm doesnt turn on but neither does the car. Everytihiing in the truck works fine even the battery indicator shows that the battery is full but it doesnt want to start. Idk if i tripped some kind of saftey for the blazer because now it doesnt even wanna start. i had a mechanic look at it and he said its not the started or altenator. He thinks because i pulled the plugs on the battery while the alarm was going off that i tripped a security feature. Well anyways long story short does anyone have any advice the blazer isnt really close to a dealer i cant afford to get it towed there.
