Trouble removing radio from Ford Ka?

Following repairs to my car (Ford Ka Collection - 54) the radio is now not working and I don't have the code. I've followed advice to look for the serial number by removing the radio - if only I could get the radio out! I've got some DIN tools and while the right hand side clicks undone no problem, the left refuses to budge. Any ideas apart from a sledgehammer?!!
 
They can be a bit stubborn. If there is no way to get behind it to help push it out then might bbe best to go to ford dealer who will be able to do it more easily I suspect or may be able to get the code for you without removing it.
