So i'm trying to connect my Casio CTK 496 keyboard to FL Studio 9 using MIDI. I'm using a USB to MIDI adapter and I've plugged it in correctly, the device shows up in FL midi settings as "USB midi Cable" and i've watched many videos on making the setting correct, so I've done that, but when I press key on the keyboard, it plays the default sound in the keyboard and out of the keyboard speakers, but no data is sent back to the computer. when I play something on FL, the light on the adapter "In" flashes, but when I do so for the keyboard, nothing happens and the "out" light remains off. I'm guessing that it's something wrong with the keyboard itself (as it is pretty cheap and it's second hand) but what else could it be? I really wanna use the keyboard in FL (for convenience)
