I just purchased a trouble code reader and I can't figure out where to plug it in on my 2001 Ford Focus zx3 - normally it's right under the dash but I can't seem to locate it - I must be blind... help????

right under the fuse panel with a hidden plastic flip-down cover that looks like it belongs to the fuse panel cover... Also, no label on it... good times -
