I'm going to Camp Pendleton to visit my husband for a weekend.
I'm staying in San Clemente, but it's still about a 15 minute drive from where my husband is in CP.
Are taxis allowed to enter the base?
That might sound stupid, but when I was at his graduation from boot camp we got around in taxis, but none of them were allowed in the base so we always had to walk in the gate and around on our own. I just want to make sure I won't be facing that same issue.
lol...the basilone road gate would be the one I'd be going through lol. I'm debating between driving my own car to california or flying and then using taxis
Oh sorry I should point out...reason I'm not moving to base is because he's just there for MCT and it's his graduation weekend so he has liberty. So the location in Camp Pendleton is camp Onofre (I think) where SOI is
They won't let me rent a car anywhere because I'm only 20
