Trinity - ITV2

I watched the first episode last night as I couldn't sleep and figured I would give it a chance. Glad I watched it when nothing else was on because it was just plain dreadful.

To be completely honest it was as though a group of writers had gathered in a Costa coffee and I imagine the meeting would have gone something along these lines:

Harry: "ITV wants a new drama using that pretty boy from Demons, they want lots of sex, nudity and the acting doesn't matter...Bob, what's your favourite university film?"

Bob: "I love Skulls...loads of sex and a secret ancient society."

Harry: "Jim, what about you?"

Jim: "Cruel Intentions, the girl on girl was hot, the step sibs and loads of money was really steamy"

Harry: "Brilliant...and I really thought that Harold and Kumar were well-rounded..."

Two steaming cups of coffee later...

Harry: "Okay, here it is...we'll have Harold and Kumar and the cast of Skulls and Cruel Intentions at university together, loads of money, sex, a secret society and some murder...will work, and it doesn't matter if the cast can't act as they'll all be pretty..."

And ta da, that's what we get! Think I would prefer if they just repeated Cruel Intentions on a Sunday night.

Oh god, I've just watched it and it was the most hilarious piece of trash TV I've seen for a long time.

  • Appalling dialogue.
  • Horrendous sex scenes - it does look though as Reggie Yates has got a no full-on nudity clause in his contract while Christian Cooke is obviously not so shy. The deflowering of Charlotte was hilariously bad.
  • Some god-awful accents especially the 'Welsh' girl and the gruesome 'Scottish (I think)' and 'American (possibly)' duo.
  • The Dandelion Club party which looked as unrealistic as some of the legendary six persons in a room and none of them drinking parties in Friends. About a dozen extras and no less than two tracks on the IPod.
Absolutely atrocious - I'll be watching again next week:D And I bet BBC America love it (they bought Hex after all ).

Oh believe me there is a lot of flesh. In the first 10 mins or so you see just about everything you could (apart from the one thing) of Christian Cooke (i'm sure you can guess the bit you don't see ;))

But later, you see a fully naked dead body (including the bit you don't see of CC)

You also get two nearly naked lads later in the show (ok they are not nearly as good as CC, but some people may like them)

Regarding women, not so much yet, some very good looking women, but not so much flesh except in the last part. :D

Regarding the actual drama, i enjoyed the first ep, a lot of mystery and drama, but also a lot of less serious stuff. I think many people will enjoy it, and even if you don't enjoy the first ep that much, you should watch the second ep.

In the preview for the second ep, it looks amazing, so much going on, much darker, more secrets. I can't wait for it.

Well done ITV on what so far seems like a brilliant drama.

Its dreadful I know but I cannot stop lusting after CC. What a bod. And the face is cure too.:D

So I will be watching again but see that according to CCthere are no more sex scences. Humm Might not be watching......

It was good trash-tv, thats about it. I thoroughly enjoyed some of the scenes involving Mr Cooke ;)
