Trig Ratios for any angle?

A bascule bridge built in two halves is 80 m long. When the bridge is opened fully, each half of gthe bridge makes an angle of 60° with the horizontal. When the bridge is opened fully, how far apart are the top ends of the two halves of the bridge?

The answer is 40 m, but why???? Please show me the steps in solving
