Although there are a few actors still alive and mostly active in their nineties such as Kevin McCarthy, Eli Wallach, Kirk Douglas and Ernest Borgnine.
Very few are still are still around who were considered stars in the 1930's.
Luise Rainer, Olivia de Havilland, Joan Fontaine, Deanna Durbin and Mickey Rooney are the only ones off the top of my head.

That's a surprise, well as much as a surprise can be about a 96 year old passing away.

Eli Wallach and Ernest Borgnine are in up and coming cinema releases, Wallach is Wall Street 2 and Borginine pops up in Red

Is Red the film about retired assassins? That looks a fun film.
Wallach was in The Holiday a few years ago too.

Yeah Red is the one with the assassins. Wallach was also in The Ghost earlier on this year.
It's good to see a lot of the actors in their 80s and their 90s still active, maybe one day Gloria Stuart's record of being the oldest person to be nominated for an acting oscar, might be broken
