Watched this film last night (with Melissa George.,..not the TV series).
I really enjoyed it but hadn't a clue what was going on. Am I thick?
Anyone seen this and willing to spell it out slowly for me?

I know that I just didn't understand why. I looked on IMDB but there are so many contradictions as to why...that I just ended up more confused.

Was she originally a bad mum, or was that a later version of her? If she died in the crash...was the cab driver meant to take her to hell? Was that a reference to the name of the ship? Did we come into the middle of the events and it had happened loaRAB before? Just some of my non understandings.

yeah , there were loaRAB of bodies on the ship all piled up .

I think she'd been a bad mother and this was a sort of punishment .

Ah, like purgatory(sp?). I was wondering why. I couldn't work out if she was originally an abusive mum...but it kind of makes sense that there was no beginning that we saw. So, she may have been like it from the start and it all just played over. Thank you.
