Went to see this today. Thought it was a bit repeitive, you'll understand when you see it. However as the film went on you understood why certain bits happened. Can't say to much without ruining the film for others.

Overall I thought it was a good watch and well worth going to the cinema to see.

Saw this today and really enjoyed it. It's promoted as a horror movie but it should really be sold as a mystery/suspense film.

I would say the film was like a very, very good episode of The Twilight Zone. A few twists, a couple of shocks , but a thoroughly entertaining two hours:). Good performances all round from the cast. I'm sure many people will guess the ending but the journey to the end is very satisfying. :p

MoRAB: Can you delete my thread, jaimesw got there first:D

Well.. went to see this tonight but 20 minutes before the end of the film the projector broke and we were told we wouldn't be able to see the ending.

Needless to say i was very annoyed given the way the film was set up if anybody could give me a description of the last 20 minutes i would be very happy thank you :)

I didn't know what to expect really. I was slightly underwhelmed but I found it good how several moments slotted together and things always made sense (I was guessing most of them by the end of it :) )

I didn't understand why she killed herself at the end though. Was that actually her or what. I was so confused.

I don't see why it's being sold as horror. Nothing scary about it...

It would've been okay except this theme has been used before on lots of sci fi series including Star Trek!

The only scary bit was
when a load of seagulls all flew up in the air at once
and the whole cinema jumped!

5/10 for effort

Loved it, want to see it again. Unlike Time Crimes, her actions were logical each step of the way as she came to terms with what was happening. The only bit I'm not sure about is:

At what point does she forget being on the liner before. When she first gets on the boat, at the start/end, she seems as if she knows why she's doing it but by the time she gets on the liner she's forgotten everything.

After the
crash when she was standing looking at the wreckage she already seemed to be forgetting everything.
By the time she got in the taxi and asked to be taken to the harbour she seemed to have very little recollection of everything, although things did seem familiar by then and she didn't know why.
Then when she
fell asleep in the cabin of the Triangle she had a dream about waking up on the beach but it seemed too random for her to recollect it as a memory

So I think
the memories were fading fast from the crash onwarRAB.

I think i must be the only one...i didn't get one thing in this film. I could have left after half an hour and it would have made just as much sense to me as what it did at the end.
So very confusing, the whole cinema were looking at each other when the credits went up it made no sense to any of them.

well I think it's a paradoxial film in nature owing to the subject being a time loop of sorts

was the cab driver death or the actual god, the ships name was based on

that is what I thought anyway,

because it did seem like a very ****ed up faustian pact

One of the characters mentions Sisyphus from Greek mythology whose fate is a clue to the film's outcome.

I thought it was a very well constructed film which would repay a repeat viewing.

Definitely a cut above the usual horror fare.
