tri-band?

Verizon said I live on the analog/digital boarderline and should get the triband phone . They suggeted the VX8300 but now I understand its only digital? What is a comperable phone thats triband?
Disadvantages of trimode vs digital?

W315, v325i the v325i would be the best tri mode phone it has camera and bluetooth non expandable memory and what not but its the best for reception tri mode is good when your traveling especially in the mountains or in some analog areas will be all digital soon but theres still analog only areas to be honest the only phone that would match the 8300 in features would be the v710, or the nokia 6256i i believe since it has mp3 player and expandable memory but both these phones are discontinued so you have to buy off ebay but the v325i is a great phone to look into.

Thanks for the help. Verizon (I an eligable for an upgrade discount) only has 1 trimode to offer, a v325, without as many features. Not much selection.

I need to get my contacts directory onto my PC. I should try and upload from my V265 if I can figure out how to connect (driver probs I believe). Is there a way to take the contacts from my V265 and put them into my new VX8300? If I can't connect my V265, can I establish a manager on my PC first, then download to my new phone?

You need to get motorola phone tools to do contact list and a data cable if you dont have on already i would keep ur v265 just in case you dont get a good signal remember you have 15 days to try the phone out if its not good then get you the razr or krazr to try.
