Alright so the deal is I got cricket today hoping that I could flash my
HTC Titan to the service myself cause I cut away from sprint
so I followed everything there was to be followed on the internets
but it didnt pay off and I was going nuts then I read about how
my area (south texas) is a tri-band area and a tri-band phone is
required for service... so does that mean I can't use my mogul?
or is there a prl I can use for this area? any help would be appriciated

you are limited to a small array of tri-band phones. Dual band phones wont work where you are unfortunately, no matter what prl you have or settings you change in your phone.

'ight thanks for the info does that mean it will never support dual band? I understand that some areas do happen to change or this tri-band thing the new
style of service? I would love to use my titan but oh well having known about this
before I would have gone with a better stock phone from cricket

You can only use AWS Phones and there is not many out right now. It is a new band just opened up by the FCC. I don't know any SmartPhones out yet with AWS. Tri Band just means the it can be used on the current 2 banRAB used buy CDMA and The 3rd is AWS band. This might help with AWS Q's A Visual Guide to AWS

PEACE
