I tried Tresemme Thermal Creation Heat Protective Spray ( I think this is the product your talking about), I personally did not like it. I felt like it wasn't doing much for my hair. I have very long hair and i had to cut it shoulder length because the ends were all died. After my hair appointment I bought some new products from the salon to try on my hair and all the products I'm using right now have changed my hair so much. If you want to improve your hair use salon brand products they are so much better then drugstore products.
I'm bias because I love Redkens hair products but this is what I use and it works for me maybe it well work for you too.
I don't straighten my hair every day and i think that really helped my hair become healthier, when i do straighten my hair I use the Redken Spray Starch 15 Heat Memory Styler on every strand that I straighten.
On my lazy days (like four to five days a week) where I don't want to straighten my hair I use the Redken Align 12 Protective Straightening Lotion and Redken Blown Away 09 blow-drying gel and just blow dry my hair using the round brush to straightener my hair as much as possible.
