Treo 650 or wait?

im thinking about getting a 650...but i've heard that palm is going to release new versions as the year progresses...should i just do wait it out?

i would get it. the new edtion of palm will probably be full of problems, when they first come out as most phones are. i owned on for about a month but got rid of it for a nokia 6682 that i wanted at the time. great phone love the edge aand full keyboard

The new version (which is the 700w) will not be available for a while as (i believe) Verizon (CDMA) has a 6-month exclusive contract on it, meaning on they can sell that phone until sometime in June, so there wont be a GSM version till then. I may be wrong, so others, feel free to correct me.

I would wait, if you can. This year, Palm will be releaseing three new versions of the Treo - one being the 700w (and it's Palm OS counterpart later this year), and then two more Palm OS versions (not sure exactly when, but expect them late in '06), one supposedly being thinner than the 650 and supporting 3G.
