Treo 650 on cricket

Alright guys, I just ordered a treo 650 data cable the other day off ebay, expecting it here anyday.

I need the prl file, and possibly some program to help edit settings on this phone, and wanted to know if its even possible to make this a cricket phone.

Wanted to do it for my sis as she is in envy of my razr i flashed :-)

free clicks, moRAB and so on. heh all thanks to you guys

anyway, let me know if its possible.

sooo at this point, since i have no money to send it to candid, and i dont have money to buy the serial cable,

can i just change the prl, and do an esn switch? i dont care about the firmware or web or anything, that can wait.

YOU need a serial cable for changing the prl....i have my own personal one that i made and i only have onel. You cannot use a tradtional USB treo cable or data cable to flash it. The serial cable reaRAB the data interface of the phone from tx, rx, and gnd connections
 
unless it is a verizon with the spc of 000000. then all you need to do is *22804 check your spc if it is a verizon dial in #*#000000# if that works just call cricket do a esn change and your on your way. if *22804 takes you to a diffrent provider then cricket try it 3 time if you dont get it then you NEED the serial cable.
 
please help i have a verizon treo 650 that i get the cricket voice on and it wont program with *228 how can i manually change everything???? please help i know ima noob and i have searched and didnt find anything on programing the phone.. Help me please.
