I have been with Cricket for 2 days now. I have a Sprint Treo 600 with Verizon firmware on cricket network. I can make phone calls send and receive sms and mms. I can even brows the web. The only thing I can't do so receive calls. I have been talking to Cricket all day now and still no results.

If it is any help, when I call from my work phone it says this nuraber has been disconnected. When I call from my wife's T-Mobile I get this phone is temporally not accepting phone calls and when I call my phone # from my Treo I get my voice mail and I have no messages.

Can anyone help me with this?

Make sure that your MDN and MIN's are correct, Also make sure that your SID is correct in the phone.

(When you call your phone nuraber from voice mail your being routed to voice mail just out of common sense, as it wouldn't make sense to call yourself and then hear the phone ring.)

Ok, so if you could tell me how to check that information it would help a bunch. As for the voicemail, I understand that if I call my nuraber from my phone it will take me to voicemail. The point that I was making was that it was actually getting to the voicemail. Sorry for the misunderstanding and for being such a nube, I will give this a shot, but I don't know how to verify this.

I have checked with Cricket and all nurabers are correct. My SID, MDN and MIN are all correct. Any other Ideas? Could my Treo be creating the problem?

Here is the deal hope someone can help. The phone has Verizon firmware. The phone thinks that call forwarding is enabled. Unfortunately when you turn off Call Forwarding on Cricket's network the phone still thinks that call forwarding is enabled due to the fact that Verizon's Call forwarding is different. So I need to find some code that will disable call forwarding on Verizon's firmware for my Treo 600.

Or at lease I think that is the solution.

Any Ideas?

---UPDATE---
Still no fix! The call forwarding arrow was a caused by Verizon firmware 1.11. Fixed the arrow but still cant receive calls. I did forward my phone nuraber to my phone nuraber and was able to get the phone to go directly to voice mail.

You do not have mms on the TREO 600. You cannot get into the settings to set that up. IF you did (which I doubt) let every one here know how you did it.

I am still working on fixing this problem.

The new developments:
When I am on the phone, I can see that someone is calling me the phone will rings through to voice mail and I can pick up the call and talk. When I am not on the phone, when someone calls me they get the message that this nuraber is not in service. When I remove the battery from the phone, taking the phone out of the equation all together, I get the nuraber is not in service.

My conclusion this far is that it has nothing to do with the battery because if it did, when I removed my battery from my phone rendering the hanRABet completely inactive, my calls should have been redirected to voice mail. This issue has been escalated with Cricket customer support but I am not expecting much from them at this time.

Is there anyone out there that can tell me what is going on here!!!!
