I will be heading overseas to AUS with my infant and my partner is unable to come. Me and my daughter don't have the same nationality nor the same surname as I am not married. I have rung the airlines I will be travelling with and they said just bring whatever I have to prove she is my daughter. I rang the Australian Embassy and they said that I don't need a permission to travel letter or anything and they have never heard of it before for Australia, even though some countries may require it. Is there anything else I should be aware of just in case? I have rang all the necessary people but I still worry that maybe there might be some problems I may face flying solo. If all the necessary people say it's ok, there shouldn't be any problems? I read a lot online and most of the things are from US or Mexico but not sure for Australia. I am Australian but I don't know...
