traveller phone wanted

Hey folks

I'm thinking of getting a new phone that will accompany my on my journeys.

therefore it should be able to run dictionaries in different languages like chinese, estonian, hebrew.... (so i guess touchscreen would be required for the chinese signs...)

besides that it should offer the usual standard as GPS navigation (with good maps available...), good camera (ok, for that i got usually an SLR ) and of course worldwide connectivity(quand-band?). Oh, and WiFi would also be nice to check emails in hotels without having to carry a laptop everywhere

on all the forum's and test sites on the internet, it looks like some sort of religion-wars between i-phone, windows mobile and symbian...

so which system - or better - which phone would you recommend for my purpose? I don't mind in brands or any specific systems. For me, what matters is functionality...and that it offers the required variety of applications, translators and maps... and if it's cheaper than 1000$ I also wouldn't be angry

thank you for your help...
