I would carry both as security and customs may want to check them both out. And baggage does not always receive the most gentle treatment and the laptop in the luggage could end up damaged. And the airlines will not accept any responsibility.

But if you are up front about having two and let them inspect as they want, I don't think they will give you any hassles. Tell them one is for school/business purposes and the other is purely personal.

Well, I intend to leave on laptop with a friend in the US, and one is a personal laptop. Is that a problem?

Also, one of the laptop is going to be in the suitcase which is going to be checked in. So how can I take it out for security?
 
They will both need to be taken out of the bags before going through security. As for customs, I don't know, it may depend on whether they are new or used, and how they maybe perceived as imports? If you are returning home with them and can proved that, you should be ok.
