Travel Thread #1: Where we've been and where we'll go.

:star: I live in: Bilbao (Spain)

:star: I've been to: A lot of places in Spain, Switzerland and France, a little cute city in Portugal (I can't remember the name!! Sorry :goof:), London (England), Brussels and Bruges (Belgium), Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Berlin, Füssen and Munich (Germany), Prague and Kutná Hora (Czech Republic), Krakow and Auschwitz (Poland), Vienna, Salzburg, Hallstatt and Innsbruck (Austria), Aosta and Milano (Italy) and probably some other places that I can't remember :mad:

:star: My favorite place of those is: Ah, I don't know. There are so many beautiful places out there... But if I had to choose, it would probably be Austria. God, it's a BEAUTIFUL country. And people are so friendly and polite there. I loved it, especially Vienna :nod:
Oh and I especially liked Berlin and Munich too. I loved Germans :lol: They were also very friendly and helpful.

:star: I still want to visit: EVERYTHING. I'd love to travel all around the world, I want to get to know new cultures, places, languages... But if I had to choose, I'd first like to visit all Europe: it's such a beautiful place full of culture. I want to visit Greece, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Iceland and... just everything. And once I've known my continent properly, I'll go away and visit Asia, Oceania and America (both South America and North America :nod:). And if I could, I'll go and visit the Moon too! :lol:

I love traveling! I was contemplating taking a gap year to go traveling, but realising I couldn't afford It opted for Uni. :lol:

I've visited most of the UK. I've been to Wales a few times. Scotland was lovely & Ireland's landscape is amazing. I've been to Paris a few time. Personally I think its overrated :P [I hope I don't get slated for saying that. lol!]. My favorite place in Europe has to be Barcelona! :D Been there twice with my friends. amazing. I absolutely adores the beaches! :D I went to Rome a few weeks back. I liked it. A lot. Though tbh after 4 days I was happy to be back. I dunno. I love its history, its building, its foood [:D] but I was really appreciative of London after I came back. Its just more diverse & thats more appealing to me I guess. Oh & did I mention they rip you off! Like big time! :lol:

I'm going New York this Wednesday! :D My first time in America! I'm extreamly excited! :D

I've been to: Most of the US states, Spain, Germany, Ireland, England, Scotland, and Australia. Going to Florence Italy in Sept. for my honeymoon! Can't wait!

My favorite place of those is: London hands down! I stayed there for 7 months in collage and loved it! I also really liked Seville Spain.

I still want to visit: Italy (going there in Sept), Norway, Poland, Chile, Costa Rica, Hawaii, Greece, and Egypt.
 
I live in the US in New York and the states i've been to were

Missouri, Iowa, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, New Jersey, Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Rhode Island, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. I haven't been to any of the States in the West Coast. I do hope to go on a road trip there.

I've also been to Ontario, Canada, and Toronto, Canada,

The only time i've been overseas is Taiwan.

So this is my first thread since i just signed up for an account here earlier today. And i was thinking me and my friend are planning to take a raod trip to Cancun Mexico around july sometime. I was wondering if that would be such a wise idea?? Or if we should go somewhere else in the good ole USA.




Any thoughts or opions welcome :goof:
