My son is on a "First Year" 9 and under Travel baseball Team. He is not the best on the team nor is he the worst. However there are pretty hard reports of a "Re-Tryout" for the team coming up pretty soon. This makes no sense as 3 of the players on the team are coaches sons and are defintley not near the best on the team. Me and my wife know that if re-tryouts are to happen that the obvious replacements will stay on the team instead of being replaced because of either coaches sons or friends of the coaches. We are not very happy about this. Is this normal for a team to do this even after the countless hours and money we have invested into our son and this whole team? I ask experianced travel ball parents and players this only. I feel this is a very unfair and pre-mature move for a team so young and dedicated.
