Transmission trouble for my 2001 buick century?

My transmission will not shift in any gears at all i think it is shot ,Im looking around for a transmission and no one seems to have any except for other models of cars like a grand prix and malibu .will they fit ? they have the same size engine 3.1 liter ,Im just dont know what to do :(
 
Don't know about newer cars, but, in the 80s I had a job servicing automatic transmissions (filter and fluid change). Sometimes a small inexpensive part called a "modulator" would fail and keep the tranny from shifting. Check everything out before you spend your money.
