I took my 2000 mercury sable to tiresplus the other day, and they scanned the cars computer and pulled a code for a transmission slip. However, the transmission is not slipping. It shifts smoothly when accelerating and from park to drive to reverse etc. It doesn't even hesitate. Has anyone experienced this? I am going to take it to the trans shop soon, but I just want to know if anyone has any suggestions.
Has 130k miles on it and transmission was replaced before by one of the previous owners at 32k
