Ok so just recently my car started doing this thing where if i pull up to a stop light and have the car in nuetral with my foot off the cluth, it sounds like theres a bumping or clanking noise in the engine. When I push down the clutch tho it stops, but sometimes I have issues getting the shifter to go into first gear, it's like somethings not lining up right.
Also, sometimes when i downshift from 3-2 and always when i downshift from 2-1 the gears tend to grind. I paid 1200 for the car and since then have put 5-600 worth of work into it, does it sound like this issue would require a whole new transmission? If so I'm just going to look for a new car
