Hey !
A few years back, my lovely mother was driving on the highway going at a good speed and got the impulse to quickly place the gear from drive to 'reverse'. The car kept rolling forward, and she then placed it back into drive. We later discovered that the car no longer reversed.
She paid a good sum of money and a mechanic rebuilt the transmission. Seven years later, I get her car, which was barely driven the last four years as she had gotten a new car.
Anyways, my concern is that while the car is stopped and in the 'drive' gear it vibrates greatly, unless I place it into 'neutral". I suspect that perhaps the transmission isn't disconnecting fully. Is there a way to calibrate this?
