I just found out that my 2003 honda civic hybrid has complete transmission failure. The car only has 62k miles on it & has not been driven hard. Dealer telling me this is not under warranty. I am the original owner of the car and thought Honda had extended warranty on major parts. It is a manual transmission, if that makes a difference. Does anyone know? Is this a rare problem? Right now I'm being told 4k in repairs. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
