That IS a big whoop!!!! That's the point of going to see a movie, not to see the equivalent of CG masturbation. If you want that you can go play an xbox game. With plot holes and a big lack of character development, that pretty much negates the entire reason of cinema.

Dunno if it's been said already, but from what I can piece together, I'm thinking that Cullen kissed Bay's ass a little bit and got the job.
From reading interviews with him, I really see him as that kinda sort.

I think maybe Welker didn't kiss ass, and Bay being such a fucking insecure individual decided not to use him because of that and instead used Hugo and altered his voice to sound like Welker. Just as a fuck you.

The fact that even in defending the movie you bring up shit that was done wrong only proves my point that he is a shit director. Even people that defend him offer up shit he does wrong. I give all of the props in the world to ILM, but the fact is Michael Bay is in charge of the presentation of it and he did a piss fuck poor job of doing it, as is the norm for him.

Saw it again, and I have to say that it is simply AMAZING to watch them transform. Every scene with a Transformer is the coolest thing I've ever seen.

I WILL buy a HiDef player for this along with a 1080p monitor, if anything warrants it, it is Michael Bay's Transformers.


But it was a crappy movie overall.
