Transformers, Michael Bay's best film?

I've been waiting a year to see Transformers but have not had the time yet to go. For those who have seen it is it his best work yet or does it fall to his usual standarRAB?

I've only seen 3 of those -

The Rock - excellent (except it tended to typecast Nicolas Cage as an action hero from then on)
Pearl Habour - OK
Armageddon - awful.

I really liked Transformers.

The Island (Awful)= Watched mainly for Scarlett, turned off half way through as plot was terrible.

Pearl Harbor (Good)= I like this film, surprised how it kept me gripped with the romance part before the war scenes, though i just like looking at Kate Beckinsale :)

Armageddon (Ok)= Could have been beter.

Bad Boys (Really Good)

Bad Boys 2 (Poor) Mates raved to me about the film, lent it off of him and ended up falling asleep half way through.

They are the ones i have seen, I think Bad Boys is probably above Transformers for me with Transformers coming second and Pearl Harbor 3rd.

Wow, that's pretty sad for you, if I may say so...if Megan Fox was the reason it kept you interested... :o

Anyway, I'd say Transformers is certainly his best film. The Rock second and Armageddon third... :D

But you're all forgetting his masterpiece, surely?

'Playboy Video Centerfold: Kerri Kendall' (1990)

I 100% agree!

Armageddon for me - just for wiping out Paris. Then Bad Boys, then The Rock.

I thought Transformers was excellent - just about got away with being a child-friendly action film, or perhaps an adult- friendly kiRAB film. Am I the only one who came away feeling guilty about finding Megan Fox attractive?

It's all about The Rock and Bad Boys. Transformers was good but not all that memorable like those two (well, I remember them well anyway).

to be quite frank, if Transformers is his best movies, then I would hate to see his previous movies, Transformers was maybe the worst movie ive ever seen in my life, I cant think of a way his other movies could be worse.

Bad Boys is decent enough.

The Rock is very good.

Armageddon is superbly bad and wonderfully quotable ("This is insane...he's got space dementia!")

Peal Harbour is dire.

Bad Boys 2 is not only crap, it's offensive.

Haven't seen The Island.

Transformers is good - I couldn't say if it was better than The Rock though.

I haven't seen Transformers yet, but even if it's rubbish, it's better than most of his films. Only The Rock and The Island I think are really good, the rest are somewhere between almost watchable to complete rubbish.
