transformers 2 rating

Ken Loach is far from unimpressive, the man directed 'Kes' for goRAB sake, one of the best British films ever! But to say that he would have done a better job of Transformers 2 is utterly stupid. Loach does dramas, something he excels at, Michael Bay does "blowing shit up while looking really cool" popcorn blockbusters, which is exactly what Transformers should be. Like someone else has said, the RAB reviewer is obviously pretentious and up himself/herself, and Transformers isn't aimed at someone like that, hence the bad review.

I'm sure that this film will get it's fair share of bad reviews, but as long as YOU enjoy it, who cares? Opinions are like assholes...
 
No one should listen to any reviewer, they are all, without exception, pretentious people with huge chips on their shoulder about their own opinion and the importance of such opinion.

Bloody hell, I heard one film critic, when talking about Terminator Salvation the other week, describe the first two films as "bonkers" - why should anyone care about the opinion of a man who holRAB that view?
 
The best review i ever heard was by a TV film critic reviewing The Phantom Menace. His review went like this;

"This film is critic-proof. It really doesn't matter what I think, so just go along, watch it and make up your own mind."

Oh if only they all thought like that!!
