I don't know if having your parents work for the school will help or hurt unless they are in are very important people with a lot of influence. I can tell you that USC has much lower standards for admission of transfer students. I only got a 21 on my ACT but with a 3.7 GPA after 2 years of community college I was admitted to USC. A lot also depends of your major. If you want to be accpeted to the Marshall School of Business or the School of Cinematic Arts you will have a much lower chance of getting in than if you declared Gender Studies (for example) as you major.
Speak with an admissions rep about if not you need SAT subject tests, as you would if you were applying as a freshman. I assume you already took the ACT/SAT and if you scores were better than average (or just about average) you should be fine.
Good Luck!
