First question how do i transfer the info that's on my 1gb sd card thats in my TX to a 2gb card? All my doc's, music,Picture's ebooks

I use a card reader and copy the card to a folder on my HD then to the new card.
I also keep backups this way. I Autosync everyday but I do this about once week to be safe. It is also faster to do it this way. If you do not have a stand alone card reader don't forget most printers have them built in these days.

You might also want to think about installing a backup program on your TX to back up the contents of the TX to your card. This can be very useful if you're away from the computer you sync to and your TX crashes. This way you have a backup with you at all times. Most of these programs will allow you to set a backup to occur at a preset time. Some will even allow you to set more than one backup set. I'm using Resco Backup and have found that it does a good job of backing up everything and restoring it without any hassles. A couple others are Backupman, & Backup Buddy.

Format it in the TX to make sure it will recognize it. It's not necessary but, you will know the TX can see it. Then copy the old card to the new one.
Put the card into the TX and then go to Card Info in the applications. Then tap menu and then choose format. This will set the folders up correctly.
Make note of when transferring the files from your current SD card on the PC and be certain to copy them back to the same folder on the new SD card.
You can also name the card after you've formatted it on the same screen. This name will be reflected in the Media application of the Palm Desktop if you continue to use the 2 cards. Makes keeping track of what's on the card a little easier.
Think of an SD card as a miniature version of the old floppy discs......if you named the card or formatted it - seemed to work better? Not really but at least you felt good about doing it.
