transfer of contact data

I have orered a Palm m 500 . My T 3 is off for repairs. When they are both in my hands I need to move all my contact data from the t3 to the m5oo. Is there an easy way to do this short of laboriously beaming each contact between palms? What about the callender data?

For the contact data:

Select the "ALL" Category, then go to the Menu and under Record select Beam Category.

For the calendar data, there isn't beam for category, but there is a "free" app called Mass Transit which will allow you to beam the entire calendar (or contacts, or memos, or notes)

Another way to go is to simply beam the entire database file directly from one unit to the other. It requires a file management utility like filez (freeware- download at http://www.palmblvd.com/software/pc/Filez-2000-11-10-palm-pc.html )

For calendar, the file is called calendar.db and for address book, its called (duh!) address.db. You may first have to delete (renaming is safer) the file on the target palm before it will accept a db with the same name.

I do this very often between my Sony Clie and my Palm Tungsten T which I use for different purposes but need to have that data in sync without hotsyncing to the PC.
