Transcend 2gb vs SanDisk 2gb for N80

Here, only Transcend got a 2GB miniSD. Unless I can find one in Manila next week when I go there for the SmackDown! tour.

Thats why I wanna know how 2GB Transcend works with N93.

I got the SanDisk 2Gb which came with an adapter to normal size SD for memory card readers and older devices. Cost me $68 AUD plus $12.10 AUD Shipping.

Worked straight out of the box, so far no issues.

Sorry to bring up an old post but it seems like Im having trouble with my n93 ever since I upgraded to a Transcend 2gb. Just like suggested, I popped in the minisd on my phone and transfers all my data. No reformating needed.

I"ve noticed a couple of issues.

Usually, when the phone is closed, I can hit the power button once and it will give me the options of setting the profiles. Since the 2gb minisd, the outer screen prompts me to open the phone and make a selection.

I have agile installed to the memory card. It was the only application that doesnt shut down if I hit end, which I liked. But lately its been disconnecting me and shutting down the app by itself. Really unstable. I thought it was the app at first so I checked for an update and I have the latest version.

Another app that I've noticed a change on is Opera Mini. Exiting and closing the app takes about a full minute rather than the seconds that it used to take.

Ever since the upgrade (last friday), I've had to take out the battery 3 times because the phone would freeze up.

Right now Im copying the content of the minisd onto my laptop and thinking that reformating the card on the phone should do the trick. Hopefully it will, while waiting, any of you guys have any ideas or going through the same deal?

I bought this from tiger direct (transcend 2g)

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2461740&CatId=1601

it was $20, now $25, I have to say that writing to it, is slower than than the Nokia stock, but it has worked fine for taking movies or taking pictures.

I am more of a Sandisk person, but did not want to pay too much.

Let's just say I was in a hot tub (104 F) with my Sandisk 2GB mini sd in my pocket (took it out of my cell phone to prevent those wondering eyes of seeing the goods), and after 5 min I remembered holy crap. So I let it dry, then used the blowdryer for 5 min, popped it back in my phone, still worked great. You can't go wrong with a GENUINE Sandisk mini sd.
