i have a trans am that im converting to dual exhaust and my gmc has a loud muffler on it but the trans am muffler is a single that splits in to a dual so one would be completly on the left and the other on the right side making it look like dual exhast. im thinking about removing the loud one and putting the trans am one on there just for looks. the loud one is hidden under the fram it looks like it doesnt have a muffler and the dual split would come out the back which you will actually see. they basicly have the same bend in the tubes. i also have a $300 magnaflow street series axhaust i could put on it but i think its to good fro my truck.

so what do you think about the trans am muffler conversion? or should i leave the street seires single i got on?
well i could just use my welder and use a the mounth of the trans am and weld the mount on. thats what i did with the muffler i got on it now. im also thinking about buffing it andputting some kind of heat resisting pain in silver or red or something. you think that would look good?

how much work are you wanting to do? easier to just swap muffler.
with fake duels you'll need to add a bracket on one side. add 30 min to an hour to the job if you go with TA parts
