anyone here listen to trance? personally im a fan of the goa, psych, and acid trance. if you wanna check out some great goa and psych get songs by:
wizzy noise
gms
dark soho
battle of the future buddhas

ive yet to meet another person at my school or any other school near me that listens to this stuff, everyone else is into the whole vocal trance and hard trance. dj sammy, tiesto, oakenfold. although sammy sucks hard, nothing wrong with tiesto, oakenfold, or pvd, or any other djs like them for that matter.
 
yeah 1200 mics has some amazing stuff. astral projection and infected mushroom are pretty damn good to. juno reactor i havent heard anything by, ill try downloading some of there stuff. battle of the future buddhas though is by far my favorite goa group but it's next to impossible to find music by them. and ill check out industrial ebm right now, thanks for the reccommendation.

also for the record, the industrial/ebm genere existed many years before trance did, but they have a simular underlying sound, inspite of their very differant directions.


finaly if you have never seen Infected Mushrooms live, and they come to your town, DO NOT MISS THAT SHOW! They knock the house down!
 
phatphat- havent seen any trance artists in concert, only been to one concert in my entire life (pearl jam). but i saw that infected mushroom was touring again so im gonna check to see if any of my frienRAB want to go with me. and xdream ive heard of but all of those other groups are completely foreign to me. but ill definitely check some of there stuff out.

mad punk indc- hmmm... ive heard of informatik but none of those other groups, ill definitely check some of there music out. but ya, again like i said before, gonna try to find someone to go to the infected mushroom concert with.
 
i'm about progressive trance but there's a lot of shitty trance out there... its really pretty hard to distinguish.

i just bought "deepsky - in silico" from a used record bin for a couple bucks. i was really impressed!
 
it's a great show, we get alot of psytrance acts at the club I work at, and these guys blew the place up. If you haven't got somebody to go with, go anyway, you might just end up meeting somebody.
 
phatphat- youve never heard of oakenfold?!?!?! he's a huge name in trance in my area.

madpunkindc- ya thats true, could always find someone there to dance with what sort of psy acts have you guys gotten? anyone big? well, big in the psytrance industry at least
 
Infected Mushrooms, and Astral Projection both just played in the last few months. Usualy we get other types of music, or DJs in. Tiesto played in June, Oakenfold a while ago. We're a large venue so we get alot of major acts.
 
mad punk indc- ya holy shit, i thought you were some small club. but then i read tiesto and oakenfold, and those guys arent exactly the small clubs types. i wanna go to sensation white or black one day though. ULTIMATE clubbing experience. look it up if youve never heard of it and check out some pictures. i downloaded a 45 minute video of it, absolutely amazing.
