Many of us already understand the need to go green in our travels and are utilizing more efficient means of transport in our day to day lives such as bicycles, efficient cars, and some are driving electric scooters (you know who you are) etc.
But for much of our vacation travels we still rely on the worst offender to the environment, high flying jet aircraft. In this area the Europeans are far ahead of North Americans by having a very extensive and efficient rail system.
Do you believe in the not too distant future that North Americans will willingly return to efficient rail and ship travel? Is this something you look forward to?
Do you believe that this is one area that the North American governments could be focusing money from their respective stimulus packages to help the economy?
