I am looking to drive from UCLA to Palm Springs on a Friday night to visit some friends. I have to leave around 6 at night though, and was wondering how bad the traffic will be, and how long would the trip take? Also, what is the best route to take? It regularly takes 2.5 hours, but I don't know how bad traffic will be at that time. Thanks!
