Traffic Court Traffic Citations?
I got a ticket in April my court date is set for this week I requested a continuance but being as though the officer will not be available any other date (how convenient) I have to go. I have not been to Traffic court for over 5 years so I don't remember how much my previous ticket was reduced, but being as though I have to travel if it's not going to be reduced by much I don't want to waste my gas going. I have to go 2 hours away for this trial. So, my question is I was going 86 in a 65 she did not cut me a break at all, did not ask why I was going so fast, the cars around me were all going the same speed and she was not very professional in my opinion should I fight the ticket or should I just pay it and not go to court? If she said I was going 85 instead of 86 that would have made a $200 difference in my fine.
