Exactly they said they gave her a "producer". Now if we were given that they would still tow our cars and we when we show our details at the station then we can claim our car back. maybe the show has set a precedence.
 
I've seen shows where they've phoned the insurance company as their computer had said no insurance and the computer has been proved to be wrong so if you do get pulled and you have got insurance insist on them contacting your insurance company
 
They can only seize the car if they have a reasonable suspicion that it IS uninsured. If the PNC shows uninsured they will try and verify that with the insurance company. In this case, a secretary dealt with the insurance on Katies behalf, The officers believed that the car was insured, so let her on her way. They do still give producers to 'normal' people as well.

Some of those near misses on the train tracks were very close, the clip, showing what looked like a Corsa, and then, even worse, the bloke who climbed over the barrier and walked across got within a whisker of death. Astonishing
 
It was 4 separate offences though. He deserved all he got, the mouthy jeb-end, All he had to do was stop, say sorry, get a talking to and he'd have been off home with no fine.
 
To be honest, it's was the cyclists own fault for stopping in the first place. He should have just carried on and taken the first narrow alleyway he saw.

Wasn't the best episode of Traffic Cops I've ever seen, but was still good. And I'm loving seeing Sussex Police on there, was very excited to see A23 and Hickstead! :D
 
I agree about the bloke on the bicycle, especially after letting that car driver get away scot free who was driving with no lights on, how the hell is a bicycle more dangerous than a car with no lights on.

Sometiomes i think the cops on these programs are shown to be a bit too high and mighty,and this was one of those times.

And also at the end of the program with Katie Price it did say that she did have insurance on her car, so there not always right ,are they.

I wonder how many times they are not right and it's not actually shown on these programs, quite a lot i would think.
 
Agree about that car with no lights, should've pulled him over and given him a fine too. The bicyclist put himself in danger, the car driver put everyone else in danger.
