Traffic Cops BBC 1

Felt sorry for the poor old fella who had his licence withdrawn for poor eye sight. i know he could not see where he was driving  but his car was the only link to the outside world:(

The ironic thing was that he indicated (the commentary said he didn't but he did) when he pulled into lane 2 the car that went from lane 3 to 2 didn't

I noticed that as well, which was a perfectly good reason as to why the driver they stopped found it harder to notice the mazda (?) In fact I thought that was the car they were focusing on to begin with! Your eyesight has to be up to scratch though in fairness to the police.

The guy in the RR - what a total w*****r - death by dangerous driving sentences in the UK are a bad joke when you consider what a frighteningly common cause of death it is.

Some of these coppers just love duties that come as part of being a traffic policeman and would probably never change. Some of them have 15 years plus service and still only a PC. Better than driving a desk obviously.

The thing that annoyed me about the Katie Price bit was that if you or me had driven off down the road to get away from the camera, they would have arrested us, yet nothing gets said to her.

Also I thought if you didn't have proof of insurance they took your car off you, it happens to everyone else in these programs that are caught without insurance.

Not one comment on here about the skip truck overtaking a van waiting at a level crossing, jumping the red lights and smashing the barrier ?

and then said it was only red lights!

Agreed, our son was killed on his motorcycle 4 years ago, car pulled out of a junction when he was about 15 yarRAB away, the police said he was doing about 25 mph, everyone else saw him coming
Was he sorry? NO! It was only an accident he said, 2 year ban

I must admit I am quite a sucker for these police camera shows. They are usually such easy post-pub brain-off telly, but Traffic Cops does manage to be more serous and intelligent than other similar shows.

Exactly, that really pis*ed me off too. If it were anyone else, i.e., a member of the public, that Range Rover would have been towed away and she'd have been made to pay a storage and release fee.

Night watch with Steve Scott is great - a compilation of all the local Cops with TV cams shown throughout the various regions - who would of thought that the Border region was so dangerous?

Found at any time between 1am and 3am on ITV1, When they can't find everything else to show.

Did I say that or did you just infer it? Hmmmmm.....

I care about Jordan as much as she cares about me. Her continued existence in the public eye is like a human litmus paper for how morally and culturally bankrupt this country has become.

So sorry to read that...
My hubby is a biker and I dread this happening. I totally agree - sentences such as that are an insult to the families left behind.

If you, I or any 'normal' member of the public gets pulled over because the computer says you have no insurance, then I wish us all good luck in explaining to the cops that computer must be wrong.
