At first when they were making this movie they wanted Richard Pryor to play the part that Eddie Murphy ended up getting but richard pryor said he would only do it if Gene Wilder could have done the part that Dan Akroyd ended up getting, i think that would have been cool but ended up a great movie anyway :)

I feel the need to applaud the TV every time I see that part. Tremendous!

I also like the fact that the HUGE black guy with the deep voice in the jail who just says "Yeah" is overdubbed with Eddie Murphy's voice saying "Yeah".
