i am thinking of trading in my ps2, 2 controllers, 29 games, ddr pad, and steering wheel to gamestop or somthing for money to go towards a xbox 360, i have about $140 now put toward it.

Question is how much do you think ill get for all my ps2 stuff?

And should i even sell it for and xbox 360?
 
Well.... I'd say you SHOULD be able to get a minimum of 200-300 dollars for that. If you're gonna take it straight for trade, that piece of shit Gamestop/EB; I'd be suprised if they give you 150 in trade. But yeah... I dunno.

I think the 360 is an awesome system and it's now got enough games on it taht I want one. I would have bought one today if there was one at the base exchange (No tax, otherwise I'd just go off base to get one).

Anyway, I dunno... I'd totally do it. The PS2 is... well, it's definatly showing it's age. It's still got one or two ace's up it's sleeve, but it's pretty done.
 
yea it one of the first ones, not the skinney one that came out about 2 years ago. ive gotton a hard drive for it too. not sure how much that will get me.

To the table, and then blue dragon and Viva Pinata (Rare).... All those games just scream class and creativity and are very hard to resist.

I would be you would AT LEAST get 200 for it. I dunno, put it up on Ebay with a buyout of.... 250, 300... then put the starting bid at the minimum you think you should get for it (which I would definatly say is in the 200 dollar range since you have that many games).

Shit, at 250 it's tempting for me to buy... sheesh, 29 games...
 
Yeah, taking it to EB/Gamestop, I wouldn't be suprised. That company is a piece of shit, I'd rather buy from Wal-Mart.
 
haha, i orginally got my ps2 off ebay. itcame in a bundle a guy put together, it was the ps2, controllers, 2 games(ssx 3 and spiderman), a logitec surrond sound system, and all the cords to go with it. i think i got it for about $400, i dont remember
 
ebgames will give you $150 trade in credit for wii...from what i've heard

they totally rip you off on everything.
i remember turning in my ps1, with 2 controllers, and about 25 games. the ps2 had come out one year before this. they gave me $45 credit - i should have kept all my shit, some games i was only getting $1-$2
 
Check Gamestop off your list too, they're the same company.

But yeah, Ebay has some douches. Someone tried to rip me off twice (trying to do a fake pay service) this past week when I sold my PSP, but I finally sold it for 220 with 3 games and 3 movies.

So yeah, just like any auction, you gotta give it time. Someone will bite, those fish out there, they're hungry.
 
I thought EB/GS was giving $99.99 for any PS2 in trade-in. You'll be down to 1 controller, but you'd be able to sell the mem cards separately.

Also try Craig's List to sell it ( www.craigslist.com ). You might get lucky selling it to someone in your city. That usually means cash instead of check or paypal.
